Aprotec DMS has a suite of add-ons to meet the toughest of requirements, delivering instant access to users both inside and outside the business whilst still maintaining tight security and control over the level of access granted, and as its all in DMS, have an audit trail of this activity.
Connecting your MRP/ ERP or similar applications, or simply content within emails or other files within your business to controlled documents in DMS, this module has the ability to save an external hyperlink for a selected document to the Windows clipboard that can then be pasted into the application, Email, document or an instant message. For those with DMS access, a single click on the hyperlink takes you directly to the linked document in DMS.
The QR Print Module provides DMS the ability to produce a product QR label which can be affixed on an item. Scanning the label’s QR code with a web enabled device, such as a smartphone or tablet, will open a browser and jump straight to a search result in DMS View listing the document(s) referenced by the label.
Where persons external to your business need to access DMS managed documents but it’s not appropriate to set up logins and grant access to your DMS, the 'External Document View' module provides a route forward. This module allows you to create Hyperlinks that can be pasted into Emails, documents or published in a Web Portal that connect directly to the DMS documents and will automatically download the linked document. You can also limit the number of times a hyperlink can be used and even auto expire the link after predetermined number of days, weeks or months.
