DMS SharePoint Integration

The DMS SharePoint module offers functionality to connect your DMS to SharePoint 365 services and keep your external file publishing area updated.

A Businesses documents are its lifeblood and often much investment is made in creation and approving. DMS has long provided document integrity on the local network such that only the latest issue is made available.

For many clients, manual publishing of documents to a SharePoint cloud has culminated in an un-controlled dumping ground for files where integrity and trust in documents was lost. The first of this modules important roles is its ability to automatically publish predetermined approved documents to your external cloud SharePoint. Seamlessly, the files are uploaded and furthermore obsolete versions are automatically removed,

With the "Housekeeping" of published DMS files on a communal SharePoint Cloud automated, the remote file store integrity can now be relied upon.

The modules second role is to offer the ability to “Book Out” files to a SharePoint cloud folder. Traditionally DMS “Work” folders have resided on either a local pc or network location, but what if you could port the “Work” folder to a cloud ?”
