QRCodes in documents

Simplicity is the key to efficiency and productivity.  One of the easiest ways to get everyone on-board with the management goals of a business is to make the mechanisms delivering those goals simple to use and quick to learn.  Aprotec know the simplest and best ways to do this is to leverage technology people are used to.

QRCodes are a familiar sight these days and most everyone knows how to scan one.  Additionally, based on the situation and location of a QRCode, they have an expectation of what the result might be without even being told.  Above all though, the one thing they do know is scanning a QRCode should make their job quicker and easier and they probably won't have to even type anything!

Using its tight application integration features, DMS can generate QRCodes and then either print them, stamp into transmittals or update and maintain them within documents, each one of these codes delivering unique and time saving functionality within your overall business management strategy, e.g.:

Document Number Verify. DMS can stamp a QRCode on the document or drawing that when scanned verifies the Document Number information shown on the document.  It also means the number can easily be copied and pasted for use elsewhere.

Document Check.  Instantly confirm the validly of a document. Scan the QR Code and the DMS Document Check web site confirms if this is the latest version. 

Transmittal Acknowledge.  No more chasing transmittal recipients for acknowledgement of receipt. Recipient only needs to scan the QRCode on the transmittal to confirm receipt.

QR Label Printing.  Printed QRCodes sticky labels attached to locations or items can be scanned, taking you instantly to a list of all related documents within DMS View.
